About Us
Advanced Engineering and Marine was built on a single principle: do it once and do it right. Every job that leaves our hands meets the same standard — no shortcuts, no second visits, no excuses.
Josef Acciano
Josef Acciano started turning spanners when he was 16. Fourteen years later, he has worked across mining, marine, industrial plant, and civil construction — building the kind of broad-spectrum trade knowledge that only comes from doing the hard yards on real jobs.
Josef founded AEM because he was tired of watching corners get cut. He saw too many jobs done twice because they were not done properly the first time. AEM exists to fix that — every repair, every install, every fabrication is held to the same standard he would demand on his own gear.
Josef and the team operate out of Beeliar in Perth's south, with a fully equipped workshop and a fleet of service vehicles ready to deploy. The workshop handles precision machining, hydraulic rebuilds, and diesel overhauls while the field trucks carry enough tooling to tackle most breakdowns on the first visit.
When you call AEM, you get Josef or one of his qualified tradesmen on the phone — not a call centre, not a receptionist. He will assess the job, give you a straight answer, and get someone on it. That direct, no-rubbish approach is what AEM was built on.
Built Different
No Shortcuts
Every job is done to the same standard — whether it is a permanent repair or a get-you-going temporary fix. We do not cut corners because cutting corners creates callbacks, and callbacks cost everyone time and money.
Direct Access
Call AEM and you talk to a tradesman, not a middleman. Josef or one of his team will assess the job, give you a straight answer on timing and cost, and get it scheduled. No layers, no runaround.
Always Equipped
Our own fleet of service vehicles, scissor lift, bobcat, forklift, and tilt tray means we arrive ready to work. No waiting on third-party hire, no coordination delays — just tradesmen with the right gear, on time.
